9/11

Solve the following problems on a clean sheet of paper or inside of your math spiral.  In order to receive full credit tomorrow for completing tonight's Cyber Monday, you must show all of your work!

Good Luck!

1)  (6th Grade Standard: GCF or LCM) Jed buys strawberry gum in packs of 7 pieces and blueberry gum in packs of 12 pieces. If Jed wants to buy the same amount of each type of gum, what is the smallest number of pieces of each flavor that he must buy?

2)  (6th Grade Standard  GCF or LCM)  Abe's Pizza sells cheese pizzas cut into 20 slices each and pepperoni pizzas cut into 8 slices each. If Abe's Pizza sold the same number of slices of each type of pizza yesterday, what is the smallest number of slices of each type that the restaurant must have sold?

3)  (6th Grade Standard: Whole Number Operations using Standard Algorithm) For the canned food drive, a class of 25 students collected 1,105 canned goods!  The class must know place the same number of cans into 8 large shipping containers.  How many cans would fit into each container?
