Answer the following three questions on a piece of loose leaf paper or inside of your math spiral.  Make sure to show all of your thinking.  DUE TOMORROW!

Fraction Operations:  Ammon, Shad, and Amari are in trying to collect enough can food (in pounds) to receive giant teddy bears to give to their mothers for their birthdays.  Sweet boys right!  Ammon collects 20 and 1/4 pounds, Shad 20 and 3/8 pounds, and Amari 20 and 5/12 pounds.  Use this information to answer the following questions.

1)  How many pounds of can food did the boys collect together?
2)  How many more pounds of can food did Amari collect over Shad?
3)  How much more pounds did Shad collect than Ammon?

Factors/Multiples:  Use a t-chart to find the LCM of the following sets of numbers.

12 and 8                                           24 and 18

Area:  Use what you know about shapes to determine the area of the following figure.  The length of the polygon is 5 and 1/4 and the width is 2 and 5/6.
